Comfort Inn & Suites Branson Meadows: A Clean, Comfortable Stay Near Sight & Sound
If you’re looking for a clean, affordable, mid-range hotel in a great location in Branson, Missouri, Comfort Inn & Suites Branson Meadows might just be “the one”.
We’ve stayed here so many times that I can’t even remember how we found it in the first place. But I’m so glad we did! It’s become a family favorite, filled with sweet memories that make me a little sappy every time I drive by.
There are actually two Comfort Inn & Suites locations in Branson, and both are owned by Myer Hospitality, a family-owned company based in Branson. So just to avoid any confusion, this review is specifically about the Branson Meadows location on Gretna Road.

Location
Speaking of location, Comfort Inn & Suites Branson Meadows offers a great one.
It strikes a perfect balance between convenience and tranquility. It’s tucked away in a peaceful part of town, yet keeps you close to everything Branson has to offer.
Just a stone’s throw from Sight & Sound Theatres, Comfort Inn & Suites Branson Meadows is an ideal choice if you’re planning on attending a show there.
You’ll also find several convenient spots nearby, including:
- Country Mart (a grocery store just down the street)
- Vasken’s Deli (one of our personal favorites)
- Billy Gail’s (classic Branson breakfast stop)
- Tequila’s 2 (casual Mexican food option)
Whether you want to be near the action or enjoy a quiet retreat after a busy day, this location really gives you both.
Price & Value
The Comfort Inn & Suites at Branson Meadows isn’t a budget motel, but it isn’t a luxury resort either. It’s a nice middle ground, and the price reflects that.
An easy way to get a discount on your stay is to become a member of the Choice Privileges Rewards Program. It’s free, and you’ll also get flyers in the mail from time to time with promotions.

Property & Parking
The hotel has four floors and one elevator, so getting around is easy. In some areas, you can even catch lovely views of the Ozark Mountains.
Parking is close, level and all around the building, so whether you’re unloading luggage or coming back after a long day of sightseeing, it’s convenient. It’s also well-lit at night.
Lobby & Common Areas
The lobby has a cozy, mountain lodge vibe with comfy furniture and a lovely fireplace.
One nice touch is the complimentary lemon water they offer in the summer and hot cocoa and tea in the winter. After a long day at Silver Dollar City, a cold drink or warm cocoa (depending on the season) hits just right. It’s the little things that make a stay feel extra welcoming.
I would be remiss to not mention Smokey the Bear. The front desk staff has a way of making him “talk” to visitors. My kids loved this when they were little! Again, it’s the little things.
Another one of my favorite little touches is the bulletin board in the lobby where guests can post notes about activities, tips, and recommendations. It’s old-school in the best way, and people actually use it. I could stand there and read it forever.

The Rooms
The rooms at Comfort Inn & Suites Branson Meadows are always clean and comfy. They’re not fancy, but they have everything you need for a relaxing stay.
The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable.
There are two vanities with sinks – one in the bathroom and another just outside – which is always so helpful when multiple people are getting ready at the same time.
You’ll also find a fridge, microwave and a safe in every room, perfect for snacks, drinks and keeping your valuables secure.
Staff & Service
The staff here is always super friendly and helpful…truly some of the best customer service you’ll find in Branson. Think Chick-fil-A vibes, but in hotel form. When they answer the phone with, “How may we exceed your expectations today?” you can tell they genuinely mean it.
From the moment they greet you at the door to the way they’re always ready to help with any little need during your stay, that Ozark Mountain hospitality really shines through every interaction.
Free Breakfast
One of the biggest perks of staying here is the free hot breakfast included with your stay.
They serve scrambled eggs, sausage links and patties (or sometimes ham or bacon), seasoned potatoes and biscuits with sausage gravy. There’s a make-your-own waffle station, which is always a hit with kids (and with adults too).
If you prefer something lighter, they have fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal and pastries as well as coffee and tea. I also love that I can get oatmeal with toppings or a simple hardboiled egg.
Beyond the variety, the shining star of the free breakfast is the staff. They’re always SO friendly and work SO hard to keep the area clean and well-stocked.
Amenities
Indoor Pool, Hot Tub & Sauna
Comfort Inn & Suites Branson Meadows has a nice indoor, heated saltwater pool. There’s also a hot tub and a sauna tucked into the same pool area, so adults have a couple of different ways to relax while the kids splash around.
The entire pool area is always clean and well-maintained, with plenty of fresh towels stocked. There’s also a small outdoor patio you can slip out onto from the pool area.
Having an indoor pool is a great backup plan for a rainy day or an easy way for kids to burn off extra energy. The pool is open daily from 9:00 AM to midnight, making it a perfect way to wind down after a long day of sightseeing.

Game Room
Comfort Inn & Suites Branson Meadows has a game room. Honestly, it’s not much. It’s a relatively small room with just a few video games, a pool table and a claw machine. (The claw!) But you would think it was Dave and Busters by the way my kids always begged to go down there. My parents used to give them each a roll of quarters to spend here each time we stayed here, and they thought it was just the greatest.
Gift Shop
There’s a sweet little gift shop in the lobby where we always seem to find a souvenir.
Fitness Room
A small fitness room is available for guests who want to stay active during their stay.
Laundry Room
An on-site laundry room is available, which is especially helpful for longer stays or road trips.
