If you’re planning a trip to Branson, you’ve probably realized that finding things to do isn’t difficult. In fact, the hard part is deciding what NOT to do.
There are SO many options—which is awesome! But it can also be overwhelming. Which is why I put together this list.
These are the top seven things to do in Branson—fan favorites that keep visitors coming back year after year. These iconic experiences showcase the very best of the city, and I firmly believe they belong on every Branson Believer’s bucket list.
So buckle up, because here are the seven CAN’T-MISS things to do in Branson.
Silver Dollar City

Let’s just kick things off with the obvious: Silver Dollar City. I mean, can you REALLY say you’ve been to Branson if you’ve never been to Silver Dollar City? Debatable.
It’s iconic. A Branson classic. Don’t miss it.
In a nutshell, Silver Dollar City is an 1880s theme park. But it’s not just ANY theme park. It’s SO much more. Think master craftsmen, shows, rides, shopping, and downright drool-worthy food—all wrapped up into one beautiful park oozing with historic Ozark charm.
If you do nothing else in Branson, make sure you go to Silver Dollar City!
The Haygoods

Musical families have long been a cornerstone of Branson’s entertainment scene, and The Haygoods are carrying on that tradition in the most spectacular way.
This powerhouse group of five brothers and one sister is so ridiculously talented, you almost can’t believe they’re all from the same mama.
But it’s true… they are!
Covering everything from the ’60s to today, these siblings put their signature “Haygood-ified” spin on every song, blending family harmonies with an electrifying stage presence. Expect zipline entrances, lasers, pyrotechnics, and over-the-top special effects—all packed into one high-energy performance.
And yet, even with all those bells and whistles, The Haygoods’ pure talent and genuine love for what they do shine through as the true stars of the show. Trust me—you won’t be disappointed.
Dogwood Canyon Nature Park

Dogwood Canyon is an absolutely gorgeous 10,000-acre nature park. Located about 35 minutes southwest of Branson, this park was envisioned and established by Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris.
You can walk, hike, bike, fish, or even explore on horseback, but one of the best ways to take in Dogwood Canyon’s beauty is the two-hour Wildlife Tram Tour. You’ll learn some fascinating history about the area and even swing down into Arkansas where you just might find yourself up close and personal with bison, elk, and longhorn cattle.
It’s spectacular!
Top of the Rock’s Lost Canyon Cave and Nature Trail

Another breathtaking Johnny Morris property is Top of the Rock. It features a world-class golf course, upscale restaurants, and even a natural history museum. One of the most memorable ways to explore this property is the Lost Canyon Cave and Nature Trail—aka the golf cart tour.
Take your time as you cruise through gorgeous scenery including waterfalls and stunning views of the Ozarks. You even wind through a cave with a drive-up bar. I’m not even kidding. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience!
During select periods, Top of the Rock offers Nature at Night. This after-hours tour lets you explore the scenic beauty of the trail under the glow of soft lighting, making the waterfalls shimmer and the towering rock formations feel even more dramatic.
Whether you go during the day or at night, don’t miss this unforgettable trail.
Sight & Sound Theatres

Sight & Sound Theatres isn’t your average theater. It’s a place where jaw-dropping, Broadway-caliber productions of Bible stories are brought to life. And you don’t have to have grown up in Sunday school to appreciate these amazing productions.
The massive 180-degree stage practically wraps around you, pulling you straight into the action with its larger-than-life sets while a top-tier cast delivers powerhouse performances. To top it all off, there are animals—real live animals—parading through the aisles and across the stage! It’s definitely a sight to behold.
Seriously, Sight & Sound Theatres is an amazing experience you won’t forget!
Dolly Parton’s Stampede

Speaking of unforgettable, let’s talk about Dolly Parton. First of all, I just adore her. How can you not? Her humor, generous heart, and deep connection to her humble roots make her truly one of a kind. And when Dolly does something, she does it up right —and Dolly Parton’s Stampede is no exception.
This dinner show features 32 beautiful horses and their talented riders, wowing the crowd with daring stunts and impressive trick riding—all while you dig into a delicious meal. Throw in some friendly competition, laugh-out-loud comedy, and even a touch of magic that all leads up to a heart-stirring grand finale.
Dolly guarantees it’s the most fun place to eat, and I couldn’t agree more!
Table Rock Lake

And last, but certainly not least, is Table Rock Lake. This beauty has been drawing visitors ever since it was formed by the damming of the White River in the 1950s. Surrounded by the beautiful Ozark Mountains, Table Rock Lake is an outdoor-lover’s paradise—perfect for boating, fishing, camping, hiking, and water sports.
If you own a boat, consider yourself lucky and definitely book a stay at one of the many lakefront resorts. But no worries if you don’t! You can still enjoy this breathtaking gem. No matter how you experience Table Rock Lake, it’s a Branson must-see!
And there you have it—the Top Seven Things to Do in Branson.
Do you HAVE to check all seven off the list for the ultimate Branson experience? Not at all. But if you can? Consider yourself lucky—and get ready for an unforgettable adventure!
